Little 8 year old Kayana Chue is suffering from brain cancer. The race is now on to save her life. She needs your financial help to get treatment.

The treatment is expected to cost in the region of J$1.5 million. Kayana's mother is desperate to save her daughter. She has had to quit her job in order to take care of her child and with no money coming in, they have gone through all their savings.

Kayana's mother, Jacinth Marsden, told the CVM reporter that little Kayana is now blind in the right eye due to her condition.

The doctors have warned that, without treatment, Kayana risks losing sight in her left eye as well as the cancer progresses.

In the report, broadcast on the evening of Saturday April 18th, 2009 on CVM-TV's News Watch programme, little Kayana made her own appeal saying, "Please help me to get better”.
